How Can I Verify?

We provide multiple verification options to ensure all eligible applicants are covered - please see the options available to you below;

6th form, college or university students

Your institution will have up to 3 different verification options available to you. As soon as you confirm your institution name you will see the options enabled from the list below;

  1. Verify via web portal - Login to your academic portal to automatically verify your student status.
  2. Verify via email address - Enter your academic email address and we will send a verification link to you.
  3. Verify by code - Some organisations issue their students with verification codes. If you have been provided with a code please enter it on this option, if you've not been provided with a code please use email or portal verification.



Online/professional course provider students

Your institution will have 2 different verification options available to you. As soon as you confirm your institution name you will see these options;

  1. Verify by code -  If your training provider has provided you with a code, or you have generated one through their website, you can enter it on our application to verify your account.
  2. Verify with document -  We accept a range of evidence to help verify your account. Ensuring you upload evidence that includes the information detailed on the FAQ linked above will help us verify your account first time.




Professional body members

Your institution will have 2 different verification options available to you. As soon as you confirm your institution name you will see these options;

  1. Verify by code - You can generate your TOTUM verification code directly in the members area of your professional membership bodies website. 
  2. Verify with document -  We accept a range of evidence to help verify your account. Ensuring you upload evidence that includes the information detailed on the FAQ linked above will help us verify your account first time.



Academic or Professional organisation staff


After selecting the TOTUM Professionals membership and confirming your organisation name you will see the verification options available to you. They will vary according to your organisation type.


6th form, college and university staff;

Professional course or membership providers;

  1. Verify by code -  If your organisation has provided you with a code, or you have generated one through their website, you can enter it on our application to verify your account.
