I’ve been refused entry even though I have a TOTUM + ID card

TOTUM + ID is part of the PASS proof of age scheme, an accreditation organisation approved and recommended by the Home Office. PASS ID enables TOTUM members to access age restricted products and services entitled to them and provides confidence and assurance to those businesses that offer such goods and services.

Despite this endorsement there may be some instances where venues decline to accept the national PASS scheme as valid proof of age. Staff in bars, clubs and pubs retain the right to refuse entry according to their own entry criteria and/or may refuse to serve anyone they believe to be underage.

If your TOTUM + ID card, accredited by PASS, has been refused you can complete this form on the PASS website.

PASS will then contact the organisation in question to provide education and assurance regarding their product, in many instances this will result in the organisation beginning to accept PASS age ID in future.
