TOTUM code links are used for two purposes: confirming eligibility and/or redeeming a discounted or free membership. The organisation that gave you the code will tell you which type of code you've received.

How to redeem a verification or voucher code

If you've been given a code link, it will look similar to this example:

1. Open your unique link in a browser and register your personal email address. Double-check for typos because the code becomes linked to that email address.


2. Set your password, choose your consent options, then enter your name and date of birth.


3. Confirm your study details. If the code came directly from your place of study, the institution field should populate automatically. If it came from another promotion, you'll need to enter your own study details.


4. Complete your order. If your code includes a free membership, upload your photo and confirm your delivery address.


Verification-only code? You'll be taken to the membership selection page where you can choose the membership type and duration before completing your order.

What to do if your code isn't working
  • Check what the code includes. Most organisation-issued codes are for eligibility checking only.
  • Clear your browser data. Try clearing cookies or opening the link in an incognito/private window.
  • Expired or invalid code. Contact the organisation that issued the code and ask for a replacement.
