To apply for a TOTUM card, you need to activate your ou.ac.uk email address first. There is more information about this on the OU Students Association website here: https://www.oustudents.com/totum

 

If you’re not sure what your OU email address is you can find it under Contact Details on your StudentHome profile page. For more information, please go to the Microsoft Office 365 page at the OU Help Centre at https://help.open.ac.uk/microsoft-office-365

Once your OU email account is successfully set up, you can return to the TOTUM purchase page and continue your application.


To do this, begin by typing ‘Open University Students’ Association’ into the drop-down bar.



You will then be able to verify your student status by submitting your Open University email address.



This will send an automated email to your Open University email account. By selecting the verification link in the email, you will be able to continue with your application and purchase your TOTUM card.


Please note; we no longer use PI codes to verify your Open University status.
